Lazy Sunday after Astanga Yoga

Oñemoherakuãva: 15.01.2024

I've just come back from a yoga class with Drishti. This time advanced Ashtanga yoga. I'm surprised at how well I can do the exercises. There are only three of us, so Manav can give us good help. Combined with the after-effects of yesterday's therapeutic massage, I'm feeling pretty flat now. I think I should take it slow today.

Review yesterday:

Wow, the massage was tough, but I already know what to expect. No pain no gain. Enjoy the sweet pain and keep laughing. Laughing is better than smiling. :-D

According to Ranjeet, I will start the same as the last session last year. I'm glad that not so many new tensions have been added. :)

On the walk back from the massage I fortify myself with a coconut and also have a liter of coconut water filled. The healthiest water you can drink here. Full of minerals and cooling in the warm temperatures.

In the evening we say goodbye to the sun, which is glowing so beautifully red today that it's time for a little photo session. :D

For dinner yesterday we had masala dosa and idli sabar in a local restaurant on the street. Hitesh now knows the best restaurants to eat in and so my second dinner in India will be a highlight.

In the evening I stop by the People's Market, where various artists exhibit and sell their art. An English woman has set up her business in India with her Vegan Gluten-Free Cakes, which gives me new inspiration for Noubomisou. I also get to know Katja, a German who has a fair trade shop here.
