25. Tag: After enjoying delicious seafood in Nafplio last night (even Franzi!), we planned a coastal hike and a stroll through the former capital of Greece for today. The sky was already cloudy in the morning, but we set off without any worries. The path along the coast south of Nafplio was indeed very beautiful. Always along the water, on the other side partly bizarrely shaped rocks, and at the end a little chapel in a rock wall. Just as we were starting our return, it started to rain. At first gently, but then more and more heavily. Luckily, we were able to take shelter at an abandoned beach bar and then take a taxi back.
Due to the weather, we skipped the city stroll and continued south, as the weather forecast for the rest of the week only reported dry conditions in the "deep south" of the Peloponnese. No problem, we'll just roll our finger up from below!
In the evening, we arrive at a very nice parking space just a few kilometers north of Monemvasia.
