Today we arrived in the middle of Germany, in Schenklengsfeld. Why the middle? At least by bike it seems to be the case. In any case, we have been here before on both our west-east tour 3 years ago and our north-south tour 2 years ago. And now the diagonal also goes right through here. Can it be anything other than the middle? The day today can be quickly reported. It was hot again, very hot. We felt like we were sweating even more than yesterday. The only noteworthy place on the route was Fulda, where the path through the old town was not very enjoyable considering the considerable crowds of people and the unfriendly cobblestones for bicycles. Of course, we took a look at the cathedral, but then quickly continued. Part of the route once again followed a former railway track with the advantage of only moderate incline. We had our lunch break at the former railway station in Burghaun. Here, cool liquids were served in an old railway car. We enjoyed it very much, of course alcohol-free.
