Warsaw or Miami 🌴

I didn't want to take too much luggage with me on my trip. That worked out reasonably well. One half of my suitcase is filled with clothes, the other half roughly with all kinds of "equipment" (e.g. shoes, wash bag, fascia ball, power bank, etc.). When I arrived at my starting point, Berlin Central Station, I could really feel the travel atmosphere. Water at Rewe, a sandwich at Backwerk and a small cold remedy at the pharmacy. I had easily bought the last things for my trip.

It took me a good 5.5 hours to get to Warsaw on the PKP Intercity train. My fellow passengers changed more often than expected, because for the first two hours, three of the six people found the right compartment, but in the wrong carriage 🤷‍♂️ The journey itself was great. Equipped with my tablet, which also makes writing the blog easier, I was able to get my personal to-do's done. For example, read through the statutes of your health insurance company - it's informative and doesn't take long 😄 I particularly like the free water that was handed out several times on the train.

My accommodation for the next two nights is right on the busy Nowy Świat street. There are great things here that I will try, e.g. cheesecake from the Cheesecake Corner or XXL croissants with lots of love and variety. To end the day, I decided on the first pierogi in my life and dressed beetroot. They tasted very delicious and overall a great start to the trip 🫡
