There's something about waking up by the sea - I could get used to it. But soon we go to the North Island, which is a bit wider in some places, so there isn't always the sea in front of the "door".
As already mentioned, the weather on the west coast remains true - it's raining 🤷🏼♀️, but today we're heading further up to the north-east, so hopefully it will get a little better.
On the way I stop at the Pancake Rocks. Stacked stone formations that look like stacked pancakes and of course you can eat them here too. There is a cafe at the parking lot that offers pancakes. I don't eat it. I set out to see the stones. The pancake rocks look strange. You can see different “figures” on a stone structure. To help, the whole thing is colored in again...
The journey continues, right into somewhere in nowhere. Tomorrow I'm going to Abel Tasman Park, where I'll be staying for 9 days. I only planned something for 3 days. I will use the remaining time to rest and recharge my batteries. I hope I can empty my "head memory" a little so that there is room for new things again.
