Unfortunately, the current weather report shows a lot of precipitation for today and tomorrow. After yesterday's hike in the rain, we decided to stay near the accommodation today.
So it's high time for another training session 💪. In exactly 2 weeks the time has finally come and the Xletix Challenge in Grömitz is coming up.
Our #Howtohavearoofdamage team has recently grown further. Ian and Marco spontaneously dare to take on the 12K route 💪💪.
Our morning walk is very nice, although definitely more strenuous than at home due to the hilly landscape. Ian did 8km straight away 😱. It definitely took me longer to cover the distance at the beginning 😅
After the first 200 meters of altitude on the initial 1.5km, we take a short walking break. Overall the pace looks very consistent 🤗.
After our morning round, we enjoy a hearty breakfast on the terrace. We briefly consider whether today wouldn't be a good swimming pool day. However, a visit during the week is certainly a little emptier than a Sunday.
It's good that we packed enough reading material. We are currently reading Dune full of anticipation for the upcoming Numenera campaign. Thanks to the constant rain showers, we have already completed 7 chapters 🤭🥰.
In the evening there is of course another round of walks. Without further ado, we take a short break from the rain and decide to take the short route up the mountain.
For a short section we follow path 222 again. Today, however, we don't meet anyone compared to the previous hike. The trail was extremely popular on Friday and we met lots of other walkers along the route.
Arya enjoyed the evening session the most and made the most of her Gaga minutes 😂
On our way we pass the local Glockenstein - Klockstenen. This is an old legend that says that the stone mysteriously turns when the church bells ring.
We immediately understand that you would like to take a short break here for a cup of coffee. 🤭
