After breakfast we went to the bus stop. A large number of travelers were waiting with us there. The bus was already pretty full; move together and all the people fit in. It was also just a short trip.

In INTRA many cafés were occupied and the narrow streets were teeming with visitors. Here you can find not only household goods, shoes, clothing, bread, cheese, salami, but also homemade biscuits and so on. Children were playing everywhere, dogs were sitting quietly under the tables, and market visitors were on their way home with full bags. We have known the market for many years and used to buy jackets, belts, bags and blouses there.

Since we always lived in the ALBERGO AZALEA - later also in the VILLA DELLA QUERCIA - it was not possible to shop here for a meal to be cooked. Back then we often had a cool box with us so we could get the great cheese and delicious salami home safely. Unfortunately not this weekend. It's also a shame that the proportion of food is very reduced. Fresh fish or fresh meat is now only available at two stands.

So we made our way to the ferry across the lake to LAVENO. Motorcycles, vans and also a motorhome are on board. Pedestrians were the first to enter the ferry and the first to leave in LAVENO. The place doesn't have much to offer in terms of tourism, but there are plenty of restaurants by the lake. We admired the beautiful church with the villa in front of it; the facade painted with floral tendrils like in Pallanza. Of course, we also climbed the many steps and returned to the water via another alley.

The waiting cars couldn't all get to Intra by ferry; it simply started another connection. Many motorhome owners probably took this route to LAGO DI MERGOZZO, where a sailing regatta was supposed to take place on Sunday. We took the bus back to Pallanza, did some shopping at ESSELUNGA and then walked up the hill to VILLA DELLA QUERCIA. That wasn't so easy either - but it was definitely nice. Take a quick rest and go back to the lake freshly styled for your last evening. Delicious tomato carpaccio for dinner; a beer, a gin, then cheese and the like to say goodbye in the GINTONERIA.

Then pack your bags at the hotel and prepare everything for your departure tomorrow. The good time at LAGO MAGGIORE and with Enrico Leccardi in the VILLA DELLA QUERCIA is over so quickly. We enjoyed every minute again. And we hope to be able to spend time here again next year. Then finally take the ferry to STRESA. So goodnight and
