Hi everyone,
Today we actually drove further, but we took our time to get started. It's clear why with the view! We also spent about two hours figuring out how and where to dispose of gray water and the toilet in Scotland. So far, this has always been very easy: on a map, the disposal points are marked, you drive there and take care of everything.
Here it's somehow not that simple... There is absolutely no information on where these disposal points are - apart from the campsites. But to use them, you usually have to stay overnight....
But now, at the end of the day, we have managed everything and are glad to be able to continue traveling with a full fresh water tank and an empty waste water tank :).
We drove a little over three hours (pure driving time) and are standing at a nice spot with a sea view.
Why are we in such a hurry? Our goal is the NC500 - the US66 of Europe, as it is often called. A tour through the pure nature at the top of Scotland. The road starts and ends in Inverness, but we will continue along the coast until we reach Wales. There we have an appointment on July 4th to go diving with sharks :).
This evening we went for a walk again - it has somehow become a tradition whenever we are in a new place :).
There are birds nesting on the cliffs along the coast. There were sooooo many birds in one place! Sometimes about 40 on one square meter! Beautiful to look at, but they smell.... Uffff.... Hihi
We watched the birds for a while and made our way back. Later we will have something to eat and once again enjoy the evening :).
The pictures will follow tomorrow, the reception is not good enough for that...
So, see you tomorrow ;)
