Götakanal Sweden

After a short peaceful night, we sit down for breakfast and discuss today's route again. Since it is overcast and the weather app shows sun in the west, we decide to head west. We go through Mariestad, Lidköping, Trollhättan to Uddevalla, then back through Binneberg, Lagerfors, Beateberg to Undenäs. Soon after starting the drive, the sun comes out, beautiful landscape, more hills and less agriculture. We visited the Vänersborg lock, one of the larger locks. Today we saw deer, beavers, many pigs (from small to large), and surprisingly, an elk. After visiting so many beautiful places and having many experiences, we arrive in Undenäs only in darkness. Dinner and then off to bed without playing cards.
