This morning, we met up with two friends that my parents met on the trip. We planned to drive the Denali Highway together for the next two days. This highway has nothing in common with yesterday's national park except the name. So we drove 200km over mostly gravel road through beautiful landscapes for the next two days. The view during the drive was very impressive. Glaciers kept appearing on the horizon and there were huge mountains all around us. Each evening, we made a campfire and enjoyed the peace and solitude here in the Alaskan wilderness. On the second evening, a fox even paid us a visit. After two very relaxing days with our friends, our paths diverged and we set off towards the Pacific coast, more specifically to Valdez.
