The report presented today,
Comes in the form of a poem.
It is relatively short,
Like a fleeting fart.
Compared to the past few days,
We sleep a bit longer.
Nevertheless, we pack our things,
And leave Uluru with a sad laugh.
We take many beautiful memories with us,
The National Park also made us a bit fit.
Even warm temperatures and many flies,
Did not stop us from hiking.
Hector is quickly refueled,
And drives as sure as William Tell.
The tank only holds 37 liters,
Which is enough for 400km and 20 'brädämsigitter'.
We drive well at around 30 degrees,
In the middle of the amazing flood of vegetation.
There are many insects stuck to the windshield,
As if birds 'pooped' on it.
We are always entertained with audio dramas,
And we don't even have to shift with Hector.
Our most important stop,
Is at the Erlunda coffee shop.
On the last few kilometers, rain accompanies us,
It manages to wipe away the remains of insects.
In Alice Springs, we head back to the DoubleTree,
Thanks to Wi-Fi, we soon see pictures of snow & skiing.
A wash in the guest laundry is also due,
Our used clothes are slowly becoming 'stale'.
This works great with homemade detergent,
So we will soon be worry-free again.
Then it's time for dinner,
Our menu choice is an absolute winner.
We leave further plans behind,
And simply chill into the evening.
P.S. There really are no pictures from today,
We kept our phones on a short leash.
That's why we have to improvise today,
And upload some pictures from yesterday.
