Soooo, a lot happened:
The Italian part of this cohort made us a proper Italian lasagna - although it looks terrible in the picture, it was extremely tasty! 10/10
We also celebrated our first birthday together and had a real meal for the first time. What you can see in the picture: I had oysters as a starter and then a truffle mushroom pizza. Sounds expensive? It was! 😂 but a total of 50€ (including half a bottle of wine) is similar to German prices (or cheaper?) and definitely bearable.
Since we usually eat mainly at home, you can also see a few dishes that I made here and I'm happy to be able to really live out my love of cooking again ☺️
The half of the pizza you see isn't mine though, it's from our landlady as an apology for the extremely loud & bright fire alarm she set off this morning... PS: That's a cauliflower pizza, does that count as an apology? I don't know 😂 buteeer: everyone is fine and nothing happened, so very relaxed here :)
In addition, the boys (Kristóf & Gauthier), who live right around the corner from us, invited us to dinner, where we had a delicious antipasti platter and apple crumble! Afterwards we went to a party where about 100 people were dressed as bananas. Nobody could really explain why exactly :D It was always funny and in the end we adapted accordingly :)
As you can see: my life here is characterized by food & time with friends, but also seeing: the Ivey building from the inside, because of course I'm still studying, but that's a little less interesting here 🤫
But soon things will get even more interesting. The first two trips are planned & paid for 🎉 the first weekend in February I'm going to a lake and the second weekend (while you're celebrating carnival) I'm going to Vegas! 😎 More trips planned 🎉
