Stopover L.A.

We arrived in the City of Angels, exhausted but happy. Our first celebrity sighting was at a burger restaurant in Santa Monica, where we saw Titus Welliver, the lead actor and producer of the show Bosch. We were too stunned to ask him for a photo, though. We walked from Santa Monica Pier to Venice Beach, and even here, we could see the stark disparities in the USA. Wealth, luxury cars, and obsession with physical appearance on one side, and extreme poverty, drug addiction, and protests on the other. Despite this, LA captivated us with its openness and laid-back California vibe. As we continued on our journey to Fiji, we both knew that we would be back soon!
