Einbeck-Friedland

The night noise

At 11:03 p.m., a refrigerated truck began unloading several roll containers using the hydraulic lifting platform in front of the hotel. As is often the case with poorly executed scheduling, the trolleys had to be pushed back and forth and loaded and unloaded several times. Great!

The day

Today's tour took us through Sülbeck, among other places. There is a saltworks there that dates back to the 17th century. The facility is still used today to extract brine.

What is unclear, however, is whether the small sheep were also sold as salt marsh lambs at the weekly market.

Salt marsh lambs?

The end of the tour was not in Witzenhausen as planned, but in Friedland due to heavy rain. We stayed at Michel's country inn right next to the railway line. More on this soon in the Vitdeokanal.
