The last day in Chicago has begun and therefore also the last full day in America 😢. But it started with joy: we have a birthday in our ranks. Celina has a birthday! Happy Birthday! 🥳 We woke up at 8:30 a.m. and went to breakfast at 8:45 a.m.. After we strengthened ourselves a bit, we started packing our suitcases, as we wouldn't have much time for that later. Today a boat tour was planned, so we met at the agreed meeting point at 11:10. The boat tour started at 11:45 and we drove along the 'Chicago River' to 'Lake Michigan'. With the help of a lock, we sailed onto the lake and got a beautiful view of the Chicago skyline. After the boat tour, we were all pretty hungry and made our way to the most American fast food restaurant of all time: McDonald's. With a full stomach, we went back to our hostel to rest a bit. With new energy, we walked along 'Lake Michigan' to the 'Navy Pier'. When we arrived at the 'Navy Pier', we enjoyed the breathtaking view and bought some souvenirs. At 6 p.m. we met at the 'Cheesecake Factory' for dinner. There was a huge selection of different dishes. From pasta, burgers, steaks, fish, and of course cheesecake. We spent the evening relaxed in our rooms and packed the rest of our things.
All in all, it was a very nice and eventful last day in Chicago and America, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we are also looking forward to being back in Germany.

Happy Birthday! 🥳 We woke up at 8:30 a.m. and went to breakfast at 8:45 a.m.. After we got new energy, we began packing our suitcases, because we wouldn't have that much time later. For today we had planned a trip with a boat, so we met at our checkpoint at 11:10. The tour started at 11:45 and we drove along the 'Chicago River' to 'Lake Michigan'.
