Tag 75 - Trust in God

Publicado: 18.01.2018

On the way to the project, I pass through a street with very rundown houses. No, that's wrong, I pass through many rundown streets, and in one of them, there is a sign on one of the houses as of today (see photo): Dios está aqui. Amen. In English: God is here. Leaning against this house is a shack made of wood and corrugated iron. When passing by, you can see that it doesn't have a solid floor made of stone or concrete. The front part of the shack is separated from the rest of the house by a few cloths. On the left hand side, there is a tiny shop, as you often see them. The goods are sold quasi from the living room. The assortment consists mainly of drinks and small bags of chips and nuts, as well as sweets, from the profit margin of which no one can make a living.

I don't know what the artist wanted to say with this. God is also in the poorest shack? One could think he took the wrong turn before and doesn't feel like coming back. I admire this confidence once again. Or is it lethargy? If God arranges it this way, what can I do against it? Or is it meant ironically? Think about that now.

Moderate, sometimes gusty wind, partly cloudy, so a comfortable temperature.
