Liberia

After a bumpy and sweaty bus ride to Liberia, I arrived at the Dodero hostel. The hostel is very small, but the garden is especially cool 😊

After my arrival, I visited the Fiestas Cívicas with a roommate, which were similar to those in Santa Cruz, just on a smaller scale, but full of fiesta 🎉

The next morning, we left for Rincon de la Vieja National Park at 7.00 am. The approximately 6-hour hike was great, and the weather was cooperative. It was always incredibly windy, but that made the whole experience much more enjoyable 🍃 I especially liked the waterfall with its clear, blue water, but the hot mud pools were also impressive 😉

I spent my last day in Liberia at Playa del Coco 🏖️. A slightly hidden beach, about a 45-minute bus ride from Liberia. Due to the strong wind and the irritating sand in our eyes, we soon treated ourselves to a smoothie 🍹

So, my next stop is La Fortuna. I hope that the bus connections work out, because it's not so obvious here 😁
