On our last evening, we played Mau Mau and Arschloch with a really nice Australian lady and her husband from New Zealand. That was a lot of fun. Among other things, we exchanged which German words the Australians use. I already knew that they use Autobahn and Kindergarten, but they also use the word 'kaputt'. It's very funny when they say that. It is used when something is really broken and cannot be repaired anymore. If an object can be fixed, it is only 'broken'.
On the last day of the Solway Lass, we could snorkel again. Since it was quite cold, we decided not to snorkel this time but to take the motorboat to the beach. This time the crew had fish food with them. As a result, there were really hundreds of colorful 30 cm fish around the boat, jumping to get the food. It was really a great experience. I have never seen so many colorful fish at once. And the snorkelers could barely escape as the fish started nibbling on them. 😂 Back on the ship, we could swing into the sea like Tarzan with a rope. We all dared - especially Mika! Daniel was able to do it the best, and silence was agreed upon regarding my performance ☺️!
After a cozy lunch, we headed back to the harbor. An evening was reserved for everyone who participated in the trip in a pub. We had arranged to meet there with the Australian lady and the New Zealander.
The pub was a lot of fun, especially Dani and I really liked it there. There was good food, lots of beer, live music, and football on a big screen! It was a really good atmosphere, especially since this pub was only covered and otherwise outdoors. It was beautiful !!!
