We hire bikes with the plan to visit some wineries. We start towards Angaston, but unfortunately everything that offers wine is still closed at 10am. On the way back, we stop at a winery where the owner informs us that most wineries are actually closed for visitors on Mondays and Tuesdays. Hmm? 😳. Alright then, let's go to Tanunda, because the selection is supposed to be better there anyway. And it is true, we find what we're looking for. Including at Chateau Dorrien Winery, where we also taste some delicious port wines. Chateau Tanunda offers wine tastings or wines in a beautiful ambience. Very pleasant... Afterwards, we are a bit hungry and we stop at a great bistro in Tanunda. Some wine and a tasty cheese and ham platter satisfy our stomachs. Yes, when ordering, I didn't quite understand how it works and it was really a bit much. We just took the rest with us. But no one else in the store besides us. Monday, you know, too bad. On the way back to Nuriootpa, we also stop at Kaesler Wines and enjoy a glass or two here. It's been a beautiful day today.
