The best in bottle fishing!

Foillsichte: 01.10.2017

This morning there was something new - rain.

But we were happy that the bicycles are clean again after the dusty roads of the past few days.

Our mission today: the most beautiful

The first most beautiful place was very unspectacular and rainy. The search for a cafe was unfortunately unsuccessful, and the bought bread was unfortunately without salt... The ONE fate that Germans and Austrians share: there is simply no good bread anywhere! :( And no matter how much they claim how great it is.. it just doesn't taste right :( But the place was cute.. like probably every place in Tuscany! :)

In the second place (Montedingsbums) we visited, the small parking lot in the town was not particularly crowded. Because the weather wasn't great and we were a bit tired, we lay down for another hour and wrote travel reports of the past days. But then we want to get on our way, and when we now come out of the Johann, suddenly everything is packed, even the main road was packed on both sides for a kilometer.

At first we were wondering, but then we found out: Today is the fiftieth wine festival of Montedingsbums.

Michelle, who was the designated driver today, exchanged the car keys for various wine tastings. We bought a wooden olive wood gyro and ate a suckling pig sandwich. I also won a bottle of white wine in a dexterity game. So we have already half covered the unplanned expenses of the fish soup.

Now we are sitting 5 km before Firenze on a "charmless campsite" according to the internet, and we are considering where we want to have breakfast in Firenze tomorrow. But we don't find it so bad.. what do you expect 5 km before a capital city: there is a swimming pool, a perfectly equipped campsite, washing machines, dryers... of course it's not small and cute... but it has everything it needs and what belongs here I think.. strange how people evaluate everything like that ;)
