#Thailand 2019 Day 1

Arrival or attempting to get to Bangkok.

It's that time again, going on vacation.

First, we have to go to Bologna.

Of course, with Eurowings🤦‍♀️ Let's see how that goes. We already have a

20-minute delay from Cologne and our time frame to catch the flight in Bologna is anything but generous.

In Bologna, we waited forever for the suitcases and then saw that our plane to

Frankfurt is also delayed. After we boarded the plane, the announcement came that we have to wait about 90 minutes for takeoff clearance and it is not yet clear if we can land in Frankfurt, as there is apparently a thunderstorm there. We are now circling between Frankfurt and Munich and still don't know where we will land. At least we know that we will not continue our flight today. Great start to the vacation 🤦‍♀️😔

We land in Munich around 10pm. Thank god we are one of the first at the Lufthansa service counter at the beginning of a long line. We are rebooked for tomorrow afternoon. With taxi vouchers, hotel vouchers, and meal vouchers, we make our way to the hotel. Unfortunately, it is quite dingy.

But there's no other choice. Cheers to the vacation😄
