Ha Long Vietnam 🇻🇳

We flew from the brand new (1 month) Siem Reap airport to Hanoi in 1.5 hours. And because of the delay and the early sunset (already at 5:00 p.m.) we arrived there in the dark.

We quickly abandoned our original plan to continue directly north.

Instead we arrived with the VIP transfer in 2.5 hours. driven from Hanoi to Ha Long. (Costs a euro more and in the modern 9 seater it was very comfortable)

We have landed in a kind of art world: everything is new here in the noble district, which was completed in 2020, for which 1 km of new land including a palm forest beach was created!!! And now: everything is empty. Virtually no tourists in the fancy hotels. Even the beach is empty!

It's certainly not typically Vietnamese, but it's more relaxed to arrive than Hanoi or Hoh Chi Min (Saigon) with their 8 million residents and mopeds.

Our excursion today: boat tour to Dragon Pearl Bay! It deserves its place as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Once again we had "lucky tours" for ourselves: we are in the low season, really nice weather, great visibility, only 18 people on the boat, everything worked out great.
