Day 16 - Mom arrives at Sevilla Airport!

Hello there :)

Today is the day when my mom arrives in Sevilla :) We went to the airport and waited for her in the taxi area - you can probably imagine how happy the taxi drivers were... 2,3 minutes and some discussions later, she came running towards us, everything actually worked out! :D Kevin was so kind and drove us to our next destination, and I sat at the table with my mom and talked about everything that has happened so far.

Since we wanted to go shopping, I entered the destination 'Supermercato' into the navigation system and was so happy with the result: Only 3 minutes away! Of course, we went there right away. But... The shop was in such a cute little village up the mountain... Really nice to look at, everything so close together... Even the streets... When we reached the top, we realized that there was no way forward - and actually no way back either... The women got out of the car, asked vehicles coming up to back up, and checked on both sides of the camper that it was enough space. A bit further down, Kevin could finally turn around! But while doing so, the RV tilted so much that we thought it would tip over any minute! After we managed the situation, we forgot about shopping and went to have dinner at a restaurant with mom. The food wasn't amazing, but it filled us up and the view was awesome!

Later, we drove to a cliff and enjoyed the afternoon up there with 1.2 glasses of wine. In the evening, we took her to her hotel 'La posada del conde' and continued to a cozy spot for the night.

Tomorrow, we have the 'Caminito del Rey' on the schedule, but it's not yet certain if it can be done due to the weather conditions (strong wind and rain are forecasted for tomorrow). We remain optimistic and hope it will work out!

Afterwards, we will go to the beautiful city of 'Ronda' with its famous bridge.
