To get from our accommodation in Newlyn to Sennen Cove, we had to hitchhike for a while. Since we forgot to buy provisions for the journey yesterday, our first stop was a café to make sure we wouldn't starve along the way. We also packed a pasty for the break.
There were many people on the Coast Path, which is surely due to its proximity to Land's End. The view in both directions is truly wonderful - Cape Cornwall and Land's End. The visibility was so good that we could even see the Scilly Islands. Unfortunately, they are not clearly visible in the pictures.
In Land's End, it was bustling as usual, but still beautiful. So, we have already reached the westernmost point of our hike. Quite crazy. You can definitely feel the fascination of this place. In front of you, only the sea and the distance...
After Land's End, it slowly became quieter again. Enys Dodnan Arch, Nanjizal Beach, Gwennap Head, and also Porthgwarra will surely remain memorable highlights! These colors, just amazing!
In Porthgwarra, we unfortunately had to stop as Tina's hip started acting up again. A nice couple who actually wanted to go in the opposite direction gave us a ride to Newlyn as they 'still had to do some shopping'. Very, very kind. Since we couldn't get any food at the pub again, we went back to Mackerel Sky. Tina really wanted to eat samphire again. It's sea asparagus. Never ever heard of it. But really delicious, try it if you discover it!
