Radfernweg München-Venezia Treviso - Venice/Mestre

ARRIVED IN VENICE-MESTRE WITH LIGHTNING AND THUNDER!!

Somehow we had imagined the finishing line a bit differently (at St. Mark's Square with sunshine), but 1. in Venice you're not allowed to ride or push your bike and 2. in Italy the sun doesn't always shine.

So the finish line was in Venice-Mestre at the train station. That's also where the official main route ends. We had thunderstorms all day, with lightning and thunder- somehow it was quite something :)

Today's route was mostly off the roads. It passed by lakes and the Sile River, as well as manor houses that were sometimes pretty and sometimes in ruins.

And overall? A very diverse tour with many highlights. Started on 8/8/19 and arrived on 8/9/19. Feels really good!
