Pediatrician instead of cooking class

The originally planned cooking class had to make way for a visit to the children's clinic. Since Nora has been vomiting for 2 days (preferably) at night, we went to the pediatrician today. Apparently, she caught a virus. It's nothing we haven't seen before in Cologne 🙈 She's generally doing well, but we're taking it easy and hoping that the next meals will be better digested.

The clinic itself was another experience on our journey. All employees were female at first glance and they all wore a uniform - namely a stylish costume consisting of a black skirt, black tights, and a light-colored blazer! And there were so many of them that we couldn't count them! It felt like every little patient had their own nurse! Everyone was very friendly and spoke good English, so communication was easy! The waiting room looked more like a luxury hotel lobby than a hospital! And it was even a bargain - treatment including all medications only cost us around €30! And I had already looked around for ATMs beforehand 😄

And even despite cultural differences - sick children are all the same. They all cuddled with mom in her arms :)

After our return to the accommodation, everyone here came up to us immediately and asked how Nora was doing and if they could do anything to help! We then sat down in the common area with a few episodes on the tablet and got some great tips for our next journey from other travelers! Now I will follow them and hopefully have our next destination booked soon 😉
