Tremp is a town and municipality in the province of Lleida, in Catalonia (Spain, Europe). It is the capital of the Pallars Jussà region and is also the head of the judicial district, being judicial district number 1 of the province of Lleida.
It has a population of 5,961 inhabitants (INE data 2023) and, with an area of 302.47 km², it is the largest municipality in all of Catalonia.
The basilica of Tremp is consecrated to Santa María de Valldeflors; it dates back to the 17th century and features late Gothic and Baroque styles.
