The realization.

By getting plenty of sleep, I managed to feel super again today! Only the noise and murmurs from the mosque next door woke me up briefly in the morning.

In the afternoon, I briefly went to the beach. However, there was no sun at all, the weather was not really inviting. So I went back to the hotel shortly after. On the way back, I ran into Sandra and her daughter Marlene. They traveled with me from Malaysia to Koh Lanta by mini-van yesterday. They are also from Germany and have already traveled to many countries with her before Marlene even starts school. The lucky one :).

Throughout the day, I wondered why I am actually under such financial constraint. I have saved up for this trip for a long time and have sacrificed a lot in Germany. And now I am in Thailand and can have so much for little money. Could have. At least I have realized it now and can change it. After all, I have to give up more again in expensive Australia. So I can have a good life in Asia now.
