Travel group La Bomba in Bora Bora

Bora Bora, a dream came true! Already during the approach and the view from above on the small paradisiacal island surrounded by turquoise was the entire travel group La Bomba completely excited. From the 'airport', which is located on a small island outside, we took the free ferry to the mainland, so that we could already catch a great second impression of the green-covered and mountainous main island and the paradisiacal motus (small islands) around. At the ferry terminal, our landlady finally put the long-awaited flower garlands around our necks to welcome us. La ora na Bora Bora!

You can explore the island completely on a 32 km long ring road. So we started walking from our beautiful apartment to the town to organize a means of transport. To the chagrin of some behinds (I still constantly have the word 'Ouch' in my head), we decided to use bicycles. And off we went directly to the most beautiful beach on the island, Matira Beach.

The best way to explore the lagoon is definitely by boat. Our guide Maui (definitely the template for the movie Moana) greeted us wearing only a brief loincloth, so we already knew that it would be a funny trip. And there was so much to see and experience: snorkeling in the coral garden, swimming with stingrays and sharks, barbecue on a motu, great views of the turquoise lagoon... And the whole day was accompanied by Polynesian live music with ukulele, bongo drums, and singing... A world-class day in Bora Bora!
