Our decision couldn't have been better. After breakfast, we eagerly packed our backpacks, slipped into our hiking boots, and off we went...Aufi!
From Haflingen, where the nursery of the famous horses is by the way, our fantastically beautiful hut tour started with magnificent views of the Dolomites, the Ortler group, and the Texel group. We were on the road for 6 hours and the biggest difficulty was not stopping at every hut, each one more beautifully located than the other with delicious homemade treats and amazing views. And what couldn't be missing: Kaiserschmarren :) it was so good and freshly baked in the pan with lots of love.. hmmmmm fantastic!!!!
Today's day once again showed us that despite everything we have experienced and seen and would not want to miss, our true heart beats for the mountains. Here we find the greatest relaxation, satisfaction, and happiness. That's why we're going up again tomorrow.
