Day 55 - Rio de Janeiro

As we had enjoyed the day before and wanted to take advantage of the last sunny day, the Uber driver stopped at Ipanema Beach again. We treated ourselves to chairs and a parasol again, the beach vendor cracked open a fresh coconut and brought delicious Caipirinhas just in time for noon. To pick up some tan, we alternated between the sea and the beach chair regularly before we eventually had to use the sun umbrella. The beach only got a little hectic briefly when flames several meters high rose from the roof of an office building in the second row. It was over in just about five minutes and we went back to doing nothing.

It wasn't until late afternoon when the wind picked up and the sun slowly set that we drove back.
