Beach day in Renesse

Since we only planned 5 days for Holland, the end of the short trip came quickly and so our last day arrived. We could have stayed longer, as we were staying with Luke's parents, but there was a barbecue party planned at home over the weekend. So we had no choice but to head back home.

The weather on our last day was great. Sunny and warm! I wanted to take advantage of that and we went to the beach in Renesse. It was really worth it, the beach there is really beautiful! It initially seemed a bit crowded, but it spread out nicely on the large beach.

We had a wonderful beach day. We didn't go into the water, as the North Sea is a bit too cold for us (or at least for me). However, we treated ourselves to a delicious portion of Dutch fries with frikandels at the local Paal, and on top of that, I had a cheese croquette. As you can see, very balanced ;)

So we had another nice beach day before heading back tomorrow.
