We spent our last week in Georgia in Tbilisi. In Germany, the name Tiflis is common, which is believed to have come from Turkish or Persian. In fact, from 1845 to 1936, Tbilisi was called Tiflis. After that, the city was renamed Tbilisi again.

We are delighted by the city, which offers an enormous balance between modernity and ancient charm. We can highly recommend Tbilisi as an idea for a city trip. This time, we let the pictures speak for themselves.
