Today we started very early in the dark to make sure we get a bed in Palas de Rei... from planned 15/18km it turned out to be 25km. 

Early in the morning a group from Korea started at the same time, they illuminated the area with their power headlamps so much that every plane could have landed there... a lot of people started walking early in the morning...

The Asians marched in fluorescent vests and in rows... later it dissolved and they had to pay tribute to the high initial pace... but when a vehicle came from behind, they obediently called out forward in order...

We passed a quite burned pine forest, since some green has grown back, it must have been a while ago... I wonder why they leave the dead wood like that...

One of the Korean women had a fan with a battery, but not a small one like we know from toy stores or from vacation, no, a proper one that could be folded up. I had to try it out and actually it had a lot of power... 

Overall the race continued today, there are many people on the way, but not as many as two days ago...

Along the way there were signs again, not to attract the dogs, because they have a home... if they follow you, they may not find their way back and become street dogs... so leave the dogs alone!! 

On one of the signposts even my name was written, and hey no, it was not me!!! Honestly not!!! 

On the way there was another small oasis, including "free hugs" when I took a picture of the sign, someone came right away. 

For dinner today we simply had bread with guacamole... quickly made by ourselves... 

Tomorrow we will only walk about 15km to save time...
