Day off! But I still woke up early to go hiking to a temple with Siza and MJ. The temple is located 900 m higher than our camp, at around 1800 m. From the camp, we can only see it as a tiny white dot. Apparently, others have managed to reach it in about 1.5 hours. How, I have no idea. There are no official hiking trails here, only dirt paths with rocks and branches. But as long as we can see our destination, we can ask for directions if we pass by a house. Still, we take wrong turns, apparently take several detours, and it takes us 3.5 hours to reach the top. Perhaps we should have had more than a cup of tea for breakfast. However, after the hardships, despite the overcast view, we are rewarded with a panoramic view of the Himalayas. The Mt Everest is probably visible in the distance as well.
Even if we find a better way back, it will still take us at least two hours. Upon reaching the camp, we catch up on breakfast and lunch. And then finally, we can rest for the next workweek...
