The great bike tour Day 16: finally in Italy

Moni and Günther, ski tourers and paragliders from Flintsbach near Rosenheim, with whom I spent a very nice evening by the campfire yesterday, really want me to have breakfast with them. I've already had breakfast, but I'll gladly have the coffee - it tastes just as good in the Opel Vivaro kitchen as it does in P's VW bus.

After the two very exhausting stages and because YR, the most reliable (Norwegian!) weather app in the Alps, has predicted "heavy rain throughout the day" or heavy thunderstorms, I'm taking a simple room in a B&B. The hot showers at the campsite are not a problem, but the piece of textile called a travel towel has to somehow dry again, as well as the underwear and the bike shirt to be washed. In Switzerland, it was simply too cold for that.

In January 2020 - just before Corona - I spent 10 days at Lake Como with P, I'm very glad that I already know my way around a bit. In the meantime, I also speak a few words of Italian and can at least communicate with my very nice and warm-hearted landlords, who are currently renovating their old house.
