After a friendly optician tightened a screw for me, on my glasses of course, I set off again. This route would more or less lead me along the Marne. Unfortunately, there is no fully developed cycle path along the river, so I often had to go through forest and meadow paths or through the Champagne vineyards. This was not always easy. But there were also some sections along the river.
Since I hadn't updated the maps online in one of my apps and the other one kept leading me into the vineyards, I relied on my "analog" tool and followed the (paper) map. That worked quite well too.
The weather was a bit cooler today, which was better for cycling. In the morning it rained a little, but it was just showers and everything dried up quickly.
