Day 22 - Rue Champlain

As often after eventful day we have a rather unspectacular day. Same today. We start the day with the intention to explore Quebec City a bit more and visit the sights.

However, we quickly realize that we have already seen most of it in the past few days. But there is one thing we left out so far, namely the Rue Champlain.

It consists mainly of restaurants, souvenir shops, art dealers, and candy stores. A classic tourist street. We stroll through the alley and check out some shops. But after half an hour, this pleasure is also over. We head to the old market so we can buy something to eat and not end up in a restaurant again. After a bit of searching, we finally find the ingredients for our sandwich.

Now, what else can we do today? At the beginning of our stay in Quebec, we read that our sister hotel, Chateau Laurier, has a spa area that we are also allowed to use. So we make our way to Chateau L. (name known to the readers) and ask about it. We actually get an access card. Whirlpool, sauna, and pool are available, but not very cozy. So we quickly leave again.

Finally, in the evening, we leave the old town and look for a cozy restaurant for dinner. On the terrace, we enjoy the evening and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different cities we have already visited in Canada.
