A long day in Sao Paulo

After having excellent steaks and ribs with a beer from Uruguay last night, we returned to our apartment and went to sleep quickly.

This morning, we set off relatively early and took an Uber to Praça da Republica. There, we purchased a ticket for the hop-on hop-off bus, which took us around the city, passing by Sao Paulo's main attractions. These included the Municipal Stadium, the MASP (Sao Paulo Museum of Art), the Cathedral da Sé, and the Municipal Theater.

After this interesting bus tour, we decided to have something to eat on Avenida Paulista. So we took the subway to Avenida Paulista, which was surprisingly clean and modern.

After lunch, we took the subway again, this time towards Butantan. There, we visited the Butantan Institute, which specializes in biological research, particularly in the production of antivenoms and vaccines. There were some interesting museums there, such as the Museum of Microbiology and the Museum of Biology, where we saw many snakes.

After this interesting stop, we went to a supermarket to buy our lunch and breakfast for tomorrow and took the subway back to our apartment.

Now we are thinking about what we want to have for dinner and planning for tomorrow. We will be taking the bus to Paraty.
