Day 47+48 Waikiki

After a 5.5-hour flight, we land on the next dream island, Oahu, Hawaii. At 6 o'clock in the morning, there is hardly any traffic and we are at the hotel in Waikiki after 30 minutes. Luckily, we get a room right away. Check-in is actually at 3 PM, emphasized 3 times. We catch some sleep and then head to the beach. It's quite busy here.😎 But a few steps further there is plenty of space and we enjoy the sun and the water. Waikiki is a great place to be. We enjoy the sunset from the rooftop terrace of the Hyatt.

January 14th. Today is another relaxing day. We only go out in the afternoon. We find a path along the beach. Partly through various hotel terraces. Great hotels and great views. However, there are many homeless people camping on the beach. On our way back, we end up at La Cucaracha for a beer. A great place with funny staff. We'll go there again tomorrow.😎
