Adventure pure

Publisearre: 05.03.2018

After a calm morning by the pool, the afternoon was already a bit more exciting. The drive took us through bumpy and long serpentine roads through the Laos jungle. By the time we arrived at the hotel in Vang Vieng, everyone was shaken up. Later, we had barbecue and sticky rice with mango in the town and walked through the night market. There was even some German food there. Unbelievable!

The next day was full of adventure. It started with a truck ride to the first point of our tour. We walked across a suspension bridge to the water cave, where we got to try cave tubing. In German 😂: gliding on rubber tubes through the cave. The water was freezing cold and it was dark in the cave, so we wore headlamps. But it was so much fun. While some of our group went ziplining later, we dried ourselves in the sun and waited for lunch. It was delicious. And in the middle of the jungle.

When we were all satisfied, we were allowed to go kayaking. I shared a kayak with Craig again. It was so much fun as we got the others wet again, but also saw so much nature. The kayak ride took us almost to the front of the hotel. There we encountered a non-venomous snake. Then we already went to the last point of our tour, to the Blue Lagoon. Beautiful, blue water awaited us there. Again, a lot of fun, as you could jump into the water from several levels. I, of course, dared to jump from a height of about 4 meters. Only the many Koreans with their full body suits were a bit annoying 😂.
We were completely exhausted in the evening, just had something to eat, and walked over the market again until we fell into bed.
