Day 27: Kanchanaburi

Today we had the scooter until 1:00 p.m. because the landlady had to drive her daughter somewhere. Of course, we took advantage of that and went to the museum about the 'Death Railway' and looked at it. When we came out of the museum, we decided to drive around Kanchanaburi a bit and enjoy the cool breeze. After driving for another 2 hours, we had to return the scooter. We felt really paralyzed without a means of transportation. So we borrowed two bicycles from the hostel and just relaxedly rode around the city. This city exudes a very authentic calmness. As a conclusion in the city, we went out in the evening, had a beer, and also enjoyed the very quiet nightlife.
