Travel from the capital to the party hot spot Vang Vieng.

24th Feb 2019: The evening before, I wanted to book the transfer to Vang Vieng. They told me to come by at 9 o'clock today. Of course, no one knew about it then. I had already suspected that. In the neighboring hostel, they tried to get a spot for the morning transfer, but no one answered. So, I decided to try again in the afternoon. 
We drove from the capital, Vientiane, to Vang Vieng on roads that can hardly be called roads. In the van, there were only Chinese people and I was the only white person. 
In the evening at the night market. 
There, I found this Thai-German restaurant. I thought I'd give it a try. 
Schnitzel with potatoes. The potatoes were oversalted and the schnitzel didn't taste like schnitzel at all. And all of this for 6.50 €. 
I wasn't full yet, so I had a ham and cheese pancake. 
25th Feb 2019: Spent the day exploring the area.

Then it was time for dinner. 
Boiling broth. 
And then you throw in vegetables and everything yourself. I also had squid. Very delicious!
