Keninklik poadium

I left at 6:20 without breakfast. I had planned to have my yogurt with fruit in the mountains at the first water stop. But then around 9 o'clock at the first water source, which unfortunately was dried up, something happened. Anyway, I took a notation of stagnant water from the trough in case I couldn't find anything better. The hike was again spectacularly beautiful. Lots of forest and along the coast again, and I hiked the 13 km to the Domata Beach. There, besides two refreshing dips in the sea, I took an hour and a half break. During the hike, I met Frank, a Czech entrepreneur who was staying at the Domata Beach with his buddies. On the last 5 km (with 600m uphill and 600m downhill), my shoes fell apart. In Agia Roumeli, I rushed into the first restaurant and stuffed myself with food. I had a large salad, extra bread and olives, a meat skewer with potatoes, and dessert. I also treated myself to a beer. Then I looked for a spot for my tent, and I found the same spot where I camped with Sonja six years ago. I'll probably have to interrupt my tour with these shoes and take a ferry and bus to Chania to buy new ones.
