So let's get to my favorite place in Cork, the hidden Nohoval Cove.
The small bay is hidden in the middle of nowhere in Cork, barely known to locals and very difficult to reach. The last kilometer there is accessible through a narrow road and if a car comes from the opposite direction, one of them has to drive backwards until they reach a small notch on the side of the road.
But the little torture is worth it: quickly find a parking space and then decide: Either go up to the 70-meter-high cliffs and watch the sea or go swimming in the clear sea. I've been here several times with different people:
Alone, with Waqas, with Cecile, the French, and Maria, or with the guys from the house. It was always a magical place, with its pyramid-shaped rocks protruding from the sea. Here you could also observe the development of Irish fauna: in April and May, the covered areas were usually brown, but in summer everything appeared in lush green.
