After we had packed everything, we continued towards the coast, to Fjällbacka. When we arrived there, we first explored the town. There, we discovered a gorge (Kungsklyftan), which we also visited. From there, a hiking trail led up a mountain and then back to the town. We continued walking along this trail. From the top of the mountain, there was a very beautiful view over the town and the archipelago in front of Fjällbacka.
Back at the car, we drove to the campsite, which was located by the sea. We paid 20€ for one night. I don't think I saw as many Germans in Sweden at one place during the whole time as I did here at the campsite. Everyone was camping or traveling in motorhomes in Sweden and came here almost every year.
We first set up our tent and then cooked ourselves dinner.
Before the sunset, we wanted to go swimming in the sea. However, there were a lot of algae in that spot and it was also much colder than expected. So we gave up on that and watched the sunset instead.
Before we went to sleep, we wanted to take a shower. Since we had to pay 5 kronor for the shower and we only had one coin, we had to share the 3-minute shower time. This has always worked well at the campsites before, but today, just as I was all lathered up, the water ran out. I rinsed my hair in the sink and had to wash the rest with a washcloth. My skin itched for the rest of the evening because I couldn't completely wash off the shower gel. Not a very pleasant experience. So you should always make sure to exchange money beforehand.
