Yesterday at 12 o'clock on the ferry, today at 14:30 local time (1:30 for us) back down. That was a long trip. Camping on board had the advantage that we could go to the black box at any time, leave Ziva in the bus for meals, had our own bedroom, but: it was extremely hot on the car deck. We estimate that it didn't cool down below 27/28° at night. Our sleep was accordingly ....
Ziva hardly got any food the day before the ferry ride to keep the toilet problem on board small, but there was none at all. Our spoiled dog refused any big or small business and held on for over 26 hours. Other dogs, on the other hand, seemed to have no problems at all. As soon as we were back on land, we stopped again and Ziva promptly peed (estimated 5 liters - or so).
We had already chosen a campsite for the first night and here we are now, ate very well and cheaply in the campsite restaurant and are looking forward to a slightly more pleasant night.
