Great Ocean Road

Publisearre: 19.12.2016

The last two days we took it easy, after all it was the weekend, Christmas is coming, and we have completed our route. On Saturday, we treated ourselves to breakfast - English Breakfast.

After all, it's also one of those "to-do" things here in Australia. After that, we went straight to checking off items from our to-do list: visiting Santa Claus xD. In Australia, there is no real Christmas tradition... it feels like you can find everything here: America, England, Europe... The Australians have really picked from everything and call it "Australian Christmas tradition". In any case, you can take a photo with Santa Claus in almost every shopping center here - and of course, we didn't miss the opportunity to tell Santa Claus our wishes and take a souvenir photo.

After all, it is most likely that we will not have the chance to greet Santa Claus in a summer dress again. We enjoyed the sun at the beach for the rest of the weekend. On Sunday evening, we drove along the Great Ocean Road again, because we wanted to see the Twelve Apostles at sunset - after all, it's THE postcard motif. And the trip was really worth it for the photos! Finally, we are heading to Melbourne tomorrow, the 6 weeks of camping are coming to an end and sightseeing awaits! Oh yeah, and there's also Christmas...
