First of all: the photos from the previous post are complete and worth it 😉
Then something else: sry, I only responded to some comments today, I didn't even think to check them earlier.
Today started early and weird, I wanted to watch the sunrise so I got up early and went to the kitchen because it was warm there. And there was a guy from Salzburg, who is here for hunting and cooking a Thar skull, good thing I'm not picky with smells!
(Interestingly, we had lamb pie for lunch today, but unfortunately not from HotPie - so you should like lamb, otherwise it won't work! I found it delicious, but I have had the taste in my mouth ever since, I should brush my teeth 🤣)
Then I said goodbye to the Southern Alps and started the last big leg in New Zealand, to Christchurch (the flight to Sydney is on Saturday morning).
By the way, today is the halfway point of my journey... I'm looking forward to a few more days here and slowly preparing for Australia, so I'll wash again, clean up the van, destroy the food.
But now it's time for a lunch nap!
See you tomorrow or something.
