After two very calm and very warm days at sea during the crossing from Huatulco to Cabo San Lucas, we are now significantly further north and it is also cooler.
Cabo San Lucas is located at the southern tip of Bahia California. It is a tourist destination and everyone who has been here before says it has lost pretty much all of its former charm. In fact, the coast is largely overbuilt and there are only things for tourists in the town. Apparently, the place is still a popular holiday home for Americans and Canadians, where they buy a vacation apartment.
That's why we only went on a snorkeling trip with a catamaran. It was a real highlight: On the way to the snorkeling spot, we passed beautiful rock formations, already saw sea lions, manta rays, and whales. At the snorkeling site, there were beautiful fish and corals.
Soon we will set sail towards San Francisco. Unlike the other places, we did not dock at a pier here, but anchored outside the harbor and took the tender boats to shore.
